Homeschool Reading

Reading IS fundamental. So, how do you teach your child the most important homeschool subject? Let’s start with the first 2 stages of the reading process: Phonological processing and phonics.

Now that your child has mastered basic words, We’ll focus on the next 2 step of the reading process. Take your child’s reading to the next level by building fluency and vocabulary.

The final step to the reading process is comprehension. Regardless of whether your child self-taught themselves how to read as a preschooler OR if you’ve been working on phonics, all kids need direct instruction in reading comprehension skills.  So, how do you know your child understands what they’re reading?
